Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of MEBO (Moist Exposed Burn Ointment) combined with microskin regenerative transplantation in the treatment of complex and refractory chronic osteomyelitis. Methods For a patient with complex and refractory chronic osteomyelitis whose disease course lasted for 40 years, comprehensive treatment measures such as thorough debridement, continuous negative pressure drainage, dressing change with MEBO, and microskin regenerative transplantation were adopted, and the treatment process and results were observed and analyzed in detail. Results After systematic treatment, the patient"s osteomyelitis was effectively controlled, the wound healed well, and the limb function was significantly improved. No recurrence was observed during the one-year follow-up. Conclusion MEBO combined with microskin regenerative transplantation has a good clinical efficacy in the treatment of complex and refractory chronic osteomyelitis, which can promote wound healing and reduce the risk of infection recurrence, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application. |
